Paleo Vanilla Cherry Lemonade

This Paleo-friendly lemonade recipe combines the refreshing flavors of lemon and cherry with a hint of vanilla for a delightful twist. It's naturally sweetened with fruit and optionally honey or maple syrup, making it a healthier alternative to traditional lemonades.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions:

Put the cherries, water, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a blender

Process until smooth

If you want it sweeter, taste and add more honey or maple syrup; blend once more

Tip ice cubes into glasses

Over the ice cubes, pour the lemonade mixture

If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves

Enjoy and serve right away!
